If you are a research respondent of Goodwin Simon Strategic Research, Inc., or one of our clients, we may collect personal information from you under certain circumstances. If you’re a California resident, our collection and use of that personal information will be governed by the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).
Under CCPA, “personal information” includes, but is not limited to, names, postal and addresses, IP addresses, and social security or other identification numbers. “Sell” is also broadly defined under CCPA. Its meaning includes “…renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, [and] transferring…for monetary or other valuable consideration.”
However, GSSR never collects Social Security or similar identification numbers, nor do we sell or transfer individual respondent-level information shared with us by respondents.
As a California consumer, you have the right to opt-out of this “sale” of your personal information. You may exercise this right, or any other right under CCPA, by filling out the form below, or by contacting us at 877-799-8720.
If you choose to exercise your right to opt out, either directly or via an authorized agent, we may request certain personal information (such as your full name, birth date, phone number, email address, or other basic personal information about you that we already have on file) in order to verify that you (and, as applicable, your agent) do in fact authorize the request.
For more information about how we collect, use, and store your personal information, and your rights as a California consumer, please see our Privacy Policy.
