As a Research Associate at GSSR, Eric Cameron works with Partner Amy Simon and Senior Research Directors John Whaley and Rebekah Orr to coordinate many aspects of both qualitative and quantitative research projects in our Bay Area office.
Prior to joining GSSR, Eric spent nearly three years on the communications and marketing team at the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, D.C. As a blogger and social media strategist, he worked to amplify diverse voices within the LGBT community, with a particular focus on transgender people, people of color, and queer youth. He managed digital content for HRC’s highest profile campaigns—including annual benchmark reports on LGBT inclusion in workplaces and healthcare facilities across the country—and helped create and launch the iconic red marriage equality logo that became one of the most viral images in Facebook history.
Before HRC, Eric worked for the digital media team at NPR, producing Arts & Life content for All Things Considered and Morning Edition.
Eric is an Ohio native with a Bachelor’s degree in English from Kenyon College. In his spare time, he enjoys running and attending theater.
