We are seeking a Research Assistant to support the firm’s partners and senior research directors in our strategic research efforts. This position is based in Oakland at our offices on Franklin Street near the 19th Street BART Station.

Responsibilities include supporting qualitative and quantitative research projects, preparing research presentations, preparing documents for data analysis, proofreading research and client documents, conducting background research, and other project-related responsibilities.

Candidates with a passion for progressive politics and social change will find this role especially meaningful. A background in campaigns, non-profit organizations, or legislative offices is a plus but not required.

To that end, GSSR would provide professional development and training in a variety of important and relevant skills.

To apply, please send a resume and cover letter to no later than January 26. Please, no phone calls.
